Is it needed yes/no and any reasons why just wondered as have full version of Kaspersky but not sure if I need it.
 
No you dont need it. Just be smart on the apps you download and read the reviews. Anti virus apps will just take resources from your phone which will slow it down.
 
Thats what i wondered as ive never had a phone virus just when installing my banking app it recommended one and offered me kaspersky full version for free.
 
yes you do need it if your going to be downloading apps. just like downloading on the computer. you never know what might happen... one advantage iphone had over g3. you didnt need an antivirus on it.
