Since we don't have a house phone, I started showing my kids how to dial 911 on our phones. I then searched for some apps and tried a few. Here's what I would like the app to do if any of them exist. It doesn't have to be free.
-Dial 911
-Turn on speakerphone
-automatically turn on GPS without promting. Some don't do it automatically
-Text and e-mail message and google maps link to specific contacts, not just coordinate.
-Widget on lock screen. Not a deal breaker if it's not included.
-Test mode that does not dial 911 and just sends out the notifications. Not a dealbreaker, but would be great for fire drills, etc.
I'm probably asking a lot, but with more and more homes not having landlines, I figure the more it does, the more likely a life will be saved.
