any alternative to shake awake??

Ive had my hero 6 weeks now and used shke awake from the start, but recently its been crap. During calls my screen goes black approx 40% of the time and its driving me mad.


Is there another app in the market that performs better than 60%??


Also, is there an app that disables the volume buttons?

You are shaking the phone aren't you? Dumb question but you never know.
Plus if you stop the service through a task manager app then obviously it doesn't work any more until you restart it.

I personally have never had an issue with it
