Any App for Saving e-mails on Android?

Hi everyone, I'm new to android, I used to use a BlackBerry 8520.

On my BlackBerry, I received e-mails, and when I went to my work computer and deleted an e-mail from the server (for security purposes), the e-mail message would still remain in my Inbox on my device.

This is a good thing, as I could carry with me e-mails that I needed, but didn't need to incur in any risk by leaving the e-mail still on the server.

Is there anyway to do this on Android? Whenever I delete an e-mail from my server, my device syncs and the e-mail is also deleted from my device, which is not what I want.

Any help is appreciated.

Check out your existing server settings and emaqil app settings - there is usually a combination to do what you want. Not sure why you think leaving your emails on a server is a security risk though.

My approach is a little different and not for everyone. Work email is outlook. I have an outlook rule set up to forward all incoming mails over to my personal gmail. I have a gmail rule setup to assign a label on anything forwarded by work email and remove it from personal gmail inbox. So it shows up only in the gmail label, with separate notification from my regular gmail.

Works fine for me for reading and keeping up while I'm away. In the rare case that I find myself needing to reply to a particular email from phone, then I go to the extra trouble to log into outlook web access.

It also happens to meet some of what op wants. There is no syncing, just forwarding. So, If something is deleted on my work outlook, the forwarded gmail is not affected. But if you need to reply a lot from the phone, then forget it.
