Any apps that allow you do download maps for offline use?

I will be traveling to Saint Maarten in September and would like to download a map of the island so I can use it with my GPS in offline mode. I do not want to incur roaming data charges so using Google Maps with GPS is out of the question. Is there anyway I can download a map and use it offline with my GPS?
