Help Any chance Amazon apps will work with Nexus 5x?

I'm loving my new Nexus 5x for the most part. But I can't figure how to access my Amazon apps.
Am I just dumb for thinking they'll eventually work together? Does anyone have any advice or suggestions, or am I just stuck with what I've got?

Hi @Crystal Nebula, Welcome to Android Forums!

All you need to do is to download the Amazon App Store app and then log in using your amazon account credentials. From there you go to "my apps" and reinstall all your apps to the Nexus 5. Pay special attention to install the app store app from Amazon and NOT Google play. They look the same but the play store app doesn't give you full access to your Amazon account.

Okay. Apparently you have to go into Permissions and accept external(non-Google) sources for installing apps, then download Amazon Underground(why they didn't just keep callong their app store an App Store I'll never understand!). So far so good...
