Any chance of a Motorola Atrix clone?

So reading about CES and the newly announced, highly anticipated Motorola Atrix coming to ATT I began wondering if the device would ever find its way to other carriers. I know dual-core phones with a gig of ram are on their way to Sprint during the Summer but I am more interested in how the Atrix is implemented with those docks. I want that damn laptop dock on a Sprint phone dammit !

don't count on it. I believe the only Motorola phone that's in Sprint's i1. Which is actually a nextel device.

I believe the dual-core phone that will eventually be in sprints lineup will the EVO Saber aka Evo 2.

Samsung will announce the next gen Galaxy S phones in Feb at MWC. One will go to Sprint and it'll be dual core. I bet HTC's EVO 2 or whatever in June will be dual core.

Every Hardware Vendor should take a lesson out of Samsung's playbook with what they did with the Galaxy S line. In has little as 5 months, they sold over a MILLION phones by going multi-carrier. If the new "Motorola-Mobility" or any other Hardware Manufacturer wants to make some cash, they should sell their devices too ALL carriers!

The HTC Sabor or eventually if they stick with the theme the Evo 2 will probably be as close as they come packing all the features the Atrix has minus the docking station and broswer on screen support. Just substitute that with a 3D display. I think the Atrix's dock capabilities will pan out to be extremely over hyped and so will the 3D capabilities of the Evo 2 but that doesn't take away from both phone's core specs like dual core processing, large display and RAM. Those are the features I look for in a phone not the added "selling points" which usually are very poorly integrated when they add such things to these types of Android devices and they rarely stick any way. When you buy a smartphone do just that don't shop for a pocket laptop or a 3D HDTV.

omg the oz website is coming back again!

evo 2 I hope has a tegra 2 processor and a 4.8 in screen will give me a stiffy till the next big thing.

I have no doubt every major phone manufacture is scrambling to replicate something like the atrix right now.

I hope not we'll end up with half a dozen half baked "screen browsers", nothing to see here folks. Honestly the cellphone industry needs to put more money into design and spend less time trying to mimic the next guy. The Atrix is nice and ok but the dock feature aside from a charging station would have little to no use (for me at least), but at least they didn't come out with yet another iPhone look a like, Yes! I'm pointing at you Samsung.
