Right now, you have to choose between 4G (LTE) and global (GSM) for your second band- You only get two radio bands, and all the new phones are focused on CDMA+LTE.
If you check them out, though, the "older" global phones are really good- LTE lagged the hardware for a bit. So, for example the Inc2, has a good screen, dual core, etc. It's "down side" is that the second radio is GSM rather than LTE. If you don't care about LTE, the current global (CDMA+GSM) phones are an awesome bargain while the rest of us are off on the LTE bandwagon paying $200+ for new phones on contract.
If you want a tri-band phone (CDMA+GSM+LTE) (global + LTE) you'll have to wait for next year, probably 2Q. The next generation of LTE phones should include smaller combined chips that permit tri-mode phones, and lower LTE power consumption. Recognize though that when they come out they will set the new bar- They'll have the best of all worlds, and they will be priced accordingly.
