Any GPS software that can do route avoidance?

Hi all -

I used to be spoiled back with a Windows Mobile device some time back with TomTom where I could select the leg of a route and click avoid, and it would route me around it. I constantly run into highway traffic that I would love to jump off a next exit and work my way around, but none of the following GPS apps seem to do this for me:
- Google Navigation (whatever traffic avoidance features it's supposed to have doesn't work for me).
- CoPilot (I thought maybe this had something, but if I remember correctly I could just choose alternate overall route, which is different than "get me around this leg of the route").
- Navigon (has some sort of traffic thing, but have yet to see it work).

Is there anything out there, or am I missing a feature in one of these apps?

Thanks in advance for any advice...

Copilot does this. If you preview the route directions, either before starting out or during navigation, you can select a road/maneuver and it will ask you if you want to avoid it. Also, while navigating, you can tell it to detour (avoid) the next "x" number of miles.
