Any kind souls willing to help?

I've never done this before, but a recent KitKat update has really impacted my phone negatively. Would anyone be willing to help me restore a previous version of Android OS? I don't mind if it's just a stock ROM, I just don't feel comfortable doing it all myself without the guidance of someone who is at least familiar and has done it before.

If any knowledgeable people out there can spare a little time to help please PM me. I apologize that this is my 2nd time posting for help here. My first request got moved to the sub-forum of the HTC Desire 601, which I completely understand why it did. But that sub-forum looks pretty dead and I don't think anyone will see the post so I'm just asking for someone who has good general knowledge of how to do this, please help me if you can. If I can return the favor somehow (monetary donation?) I will be glad to.

Thanks Unforgiven! And thanks for being understanding about my re-post here.

I will be checking back often for replies, as my phone is frustrating to use in its current state and I'm really looking forward to a remedy.
