I've had mine about 2 months and I love it except for a couple of things.
The display is so sensitive that often it responds when I've barely touched it which creates havoc with texting.
I get a very high failure rate fro file downloads from the internet, that never happened with my MotoG.
I can't get rid of the weather graphic on the home screen.
The screen is difficult to see even on highest brightness on really sunny days.
Highest volume isn't that high.
Aside from that battery life is brilliant and the phone operates great.

Edited my recommendation for the newer, better View 10, which I like a lot, as there's a bigger price difference than I thought, even though the V10 price has dropped. :p

No OIS / IP rating but greater spec.

Had this device for the past week, and wow, am I impressed with the battery life. Having come from using my old Nexus 5, the difference is amazing. And I also note that this version of Android is much better at closing down apps, which probably helps with battery consumption. Net result is that this phone will go for days on a single charge. Very nice.
 
Way OT: I went to an IOT device con in a nightclub in Boston and the Huawei guy was the only person I could relate to.

Did alcohol vaporizers ever take off? This was back in the aughts way before cheap vapes.
