Any new Droids for Verizon?

Hey guys, my contract is up in late August and I'm finally ready to make the switch to an Android phone (preferably HTC). The Incredible, and now the Droid X look impressive but obviously there will always be better phones coming out.

Does anyone think HTC will be coming out with any new droids in the next 2 months that would be an improvement over the Incredible or will my decision be between these 2? I heard about the possible Scorpion. Thanks

I am running a Motorola Droid and am up for upgrade.

With 2.2 coming out and a 2x-5x upgrade in performance, I am going to wait to see what Christmas comes with, maybe even next year.
