Any new phones coming soon?

Haven't heard of up coming ones sold by MetroPCS, if you don't mind buying somewhere else the Moto G5 Plus will come out soon.

The Moto G5 Plus will start at $229, the Moto G5 wont be available in the US from what I've seen.

just wondering if anyone knows about any new phones coming soon to metropcs.
Ty for starting this.Very bad selection for Metro, and especially tough for those on the grandfathered plans(that obligate Metro-only phones).
We need something in between Stylo/J7/Zmax and flagships. And even the flagships are hohum...32gb version of Galaxy S.

BYOD is offered at Metro so don't limit yourself to their selections.

However, they have improved over the years since the T-Mobile merger.

I'm debating this. If I byod, my $50 Unlimited becomes $60.
Is It worth extra $120 yearly times beaucoup years?

Talked to my favorite local metropcs store manager and he said he got a confirmation they would be getting the Stylo 3 sometime between April and June. Thats all he could come up with.

The LG Stylo 3 is equipped with a 5.7-inch 720p display, 1.5 GHz octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a 13-megapixel main camera and an additional 8-megapixel selfie unit on the front.

Don't recall any previous phone line with such tiny incremental improvements.

They won't budge on the 16gb storage :p

Does Metro still "penalize" BYOD phones?

Only to the extent that if you are on the $50 unlimited promotion from a couple of years ago you will lose it permanently if you switch to a BYOD/non-Metro branded phone. Otherwise the plans are the same for a BYOD as for a branded device.
However, there is also the fact that WiFi calling will only work on the branded phones and maybe one or two BYOD's but not on most.
