Help any one figure out how to tighten the screen and stop the creekyness

has anyone figured out how to tighten the screen, i have already replaced my g1 because of the creakiness, and know its worse then before, its driving me insane!!, if anyone has a solution pleaseee post here.
 
I don't know how to tighten the screen but I bought the black rubberized cover and it stops the creaking while its on
 
Trippy. My G1 has never squeaked. I looked for that little protrusion and I can see it on my phone, but it doesn't contact the screen on mine. Guess I got lucky.
 
Just add a piece of electrical tape folded with part of a business card underneath the battery cover...makes the cover tight and snug and no more noise =)
 
At first my G1 creaks a little. The creaks became louder and louder. It creaks just by holding the phone.

Then suddenly the creaks were gone! I didn't do anything. Maybe its the cold of winter (I'm only in LA so its not that cold).
