so, im due for a replacement but i think im going to hold off for now. but, im sure one of the big questions in the future will be, 4g or not 4g. as of now i dont really see the need for it (MB if we ever get a netflix app) but im sure the next big phones will all have it, so if i get one can i just opt out of the 10$ charge and use 3g?

Umm, what? You posted in a specific phone section which is on a carrier that currently doesn't charge extra for 4G, and you are asking if you should hold off on using it.

im asking here cause a)this is my current phone, and the only place i really go on this site and b)if you have an inc, you have Verizon best place to ask IMO.

didnt know they werent charging extra for 4g, thought it was 10$ like every one else, so i guess it doesnt really matter. thx!

Once you try 4G for a little while, you might change your mind about not needing it. ;)

I seriously doubt that Verizon will refrain from charging extra for 4G.

If anything they will just raise the price on all of their data plans.

They are already selling 4G services and it has no additional cost over the unlimited 3G plan except you need a 4G phone to get it. I can definitely see them upping the price or taking away the unlimited option as more people get on the "4G" bandwagon though.
