any possible way to force phone # to show?

my girlfriend recently been recieving phone calls from "unknown" and "private"... i was wondering since a couple of months, if if an application to force the numbers to be visible could exist

No, they are blocked by the telecom. If they are harassing calls or even if they are nuisance calls you can report them back to the carrier and I believe they can trace them back. I don't think they will tell you the originating number, but they will be on record should you need to take legal action.

You can simply block all calls without caller ID (usually junk calls anyway). You can use an app like Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile - Android app on AppBrain and under privacy options choose how to block incoming calls.
