Any rumors on new devices for Virgin Mobile US?

I'm pretty convinced I'm going to go prepaid after my current sprint contract ends, and so far virgin mobile looks like top dog. Only problem is I think I'd like something a little more powerful, and up to date (ICS) than the Motorola triumph. Has anybody heard any rumors about some higher end devices coming to Virgin?

Unfortunately I doubt VMU will be getting any high end phones soon. Sprint likely doesn't want anyone jumping ship, and having the best phones is really the only way to do that.

If you want high end and still be on a cheap prepaid plan then T-mo is your best bet (if you get good coverage in your area). Vm isn't know for being high end or providing updates...

Virgin mobile are coming out with there HTC one series phone which the one v well have build in beats audio and come stock with ics 4.0 sense

I have a google alert set for Virgin Mobile news. The phones they have, or are rumored to be getting soon, are not particularly high end though. The HTC One V is about as high as it gets on VM and I haven't even seen a solid launch date for it yet. Anyway, here are the links:

LG Optimus Elite coming to Sprint, Virgin Mobile?

I might swing for the HTC One V, but that is about it. I'm fairly happy with my Optimus V right now and I'm looking at getting a tablet, if I do I won't really need a larger screen.

Would like a device that is a little more powerful than the Optimus V though, I'd like to be able to at least see Firefox mobile and play World of Goo.

That or Straight Talk. Pay $45/month or just pay $499 for the whole year which comes out to under $42/month. You get unlimited talk/text/data. Bring your own unlocked device. :)

I'm taking a closer look at the One V. I've accepted that data speeds are always going to be rather slow in my area, but fast enough for Gmail and web use. As long as those two functions and GPS are fully functional, I'm a happy camper at $25/month!

I don't know about ST... I've read parts of their TOS and they basically say in their TOS they can terminate your account for talking too much, texting too much, or using the web too much... on the unlimited plan... So I don't know that I would ever even consider them. I'm glad with T-Mo for now anyways...

This is also something I really want, too. Although it seems I read somewhere they were trying to test FF on our processor type again... or am I just remembering bits from a dream? lol

and play World of Goo.

 Do I wanna know? Wait, no, I don't rofl. :p

True, but to date, I haven't heard of anyone getting kicked off for doing too much of any of the above. Not saying it's all a gamble, but given that this has never been exercised, I'd say it's worth a second look.

I have a very good feeling about the HTC One V. It lacks the 4.1" screen, and the FFC, and HMDI, but it gains ICS, Bluetooth 4.0, Beats Audio (for what it may be worth), and the possibility of everything working out of the box! (Which for the most part, the Triumph has accomplished, thanks to our devs.)

Not to mention every mobile phone oriented website has reported on it heading to VM in April.

You get throttled to 2g after 200mb on tmobile prepaid, so I'd pass.

They have more than 1 plan. They have 2 $30 plans (one with unlimited everything, first 200mb at 4g speeds. And another one with unlimited everything but talk, first 5gb at 4g speeds and 100 minutes for talking which is a Walmart/online exclusive.) And then they have more expensive plans that are all unlimited everything with incremental data caps for 4g.
