Hi All

Anyone use these Apps? Used em with my 3GS with no problems. HOX when I finish my route it's not accurate as I Know around about the Distance of my Runs, one I do is about 5.40 but shows up around 6.50?

Any pointers to my problem?

I use the Nike+ app, I recently switched from iPhone 4s and used it all the time with my fuel band. I always thought it was accurate.

I use both Endomondo Pro and Cardio trainer free.
I have noticed that Endo is a little bit less in the distance stakes, and since getting the OneX Cardio trainer has increased the distance slightly over my old Hero. I actually ran 11 k recorded with it for the Bupa 10K in May, so I am sure it is slightly out.

Does your app have a stride distance, that might be a measurement calculator, as i think it uses that to try and get a bit more accurate. There are also different settings on CT for the GPS accuracy.

Thanks Mate

I use MapMyRun and Runtastic, I will check out the stride info. I have also heard it's a hardare fault on the phone GPS, anyone else know about this??

Noticed a similar issue with Endomodo, on my first handset, my run/cycle was always circa 6 miles, yet on my replacement, it is over 8.

Does Google Maps, or any other app that uses location, report you being where you're supposed to be?

I will try the Maps today Pres and let you know. So on your replacement is there still an issue with your GPS?

Update:

Google Maps seems OK no erratic behavior. Just tried it now as I am out on a bike ride and tried the navigation that's fine also.

Hi All

After trawling the Net it seems to be a hardware fault! Is this liable to be fixed with an update or does the Phone go Back?

If it's hardware, there's not much a patch can do to fix I'm afraid.

If you call HTC, let me know what they say, I might need to call Orange about mine.

Yep let me know too. I will keep a more accurate check and send back if that is a hardware fault

Mate it's been to HTC they reckon it's repaired it ain't so back to the seller watch this Space people
