Any Unofficial YouTube app on Android that makes it better like on iOS ?

I can't stand iphone.
I can't stand Youtube.

Anyway, there are still some uses for Youtube.

As I have no idea what you are looking for, I can only tell you how to make Youtube less crappy on Android.

Mainly, no ads (ads that are part of the programming cannot be eliminated), the ability to download, a pop-up player, and a background player.

All this for free, with no hitches.

NewPipe, an app available from F-Droid, will do all of that.

There are some others, but NewPipe is what I use, and there are no Google items included with it. (Some of the others still have Google Analytics and/or trackers.)

You don't even need a Google account to use it.
You can also import your Youtube subscriptions to the app.

There is literally no difference in functionality, furthermore, there would be zero logic in the developers of the YouTube app, owned by Google, developer of android, to make the android version less "better".
