Any way to get a activation fee waived?

Pretty much the topic. I'm thinking about getting the Tab 3, and yes, I know its only 50 bucks, but I'd rather not pay 50+35, plus the cost of the case and screen protector and microsd card I'd want to get for it. So, if anyone has any suggestions?

You can always ask? Call customer service and see if they will waive the activation fee if you get the Tab 3. I did that with my S3 before I bought it. Doesn't hurt to try.

Well, if I get the Tab, it'll probably be in a store. Now, on that note, would a Corporate store provide better odds, you think, or some smaller store?

neither. you are better off contacting sprint over the phone. the folks in the store wont be able to waive the fee. it will be added to your bill and you will see it next billing cycle.

That is correct, your best bet is to order it online and speak to a customer service rep online, the Sprint stores 9 out of 10 will not waive the activation fee, your best bet is to call and order. If the first one you get on the phone won't do so, then say thank you and hang up, and then call back 30 minutes later a try again, cheers. ;)

I'm pretty sure if you purchase online the fee is automatically waived for this deal.

Oh, ok, that's bloody AWESOME. Now, on that note, Im curious, is there any way, when doing the online purchase, to simply apply the cost of the Tab 3 to my first bill, cause I believe thats possible, and as such, I don't have to break out one of my suffering credit cards to pay for it?
