I'm coming from Windows Mobile (Touch Pro2) and I'm going to miss having my upcoming appointments on the home screen. Is it possible to have this set up? I'm only seeing icons/widgets in all the reviews. The phone I'll be getting will be the EVO 4G.

Also, how well does Google Voice implement into Android, is it possible to have an option to either call from my regular cell number or from google voice without going through an app or the website?

It integrates very well. You can set it to ask everytime you dial a number whether you want to dial out your mobile number or through GV and it is pretty seamless. GV calls are placed directly from the phone dialer.

There is also a GV toggle shortcut you can add to your homescreen so you can just hit to toggle through the options of placing a call with your mobile number or GV number.

Put your appointments in the calendar, and you can use any of the many great calendar/agenda widgets to display them on your home screens

CalWidget is my choice. It comes with about a dozen size configurations. I use a 3x2 display, which is large, but completely handy.
