Any YouTube/Video Optimization Tips?

Just wondering if anyone has any tips, tricks or hacks **for non-rooted** Android to optimize video playback on 3G or slower/weak connections.

Specifically, I'd like to get YouTube to playback a bit smoother, maybe load faster.

When I have a solid connection its pretty smooth but I move around a lot and wondering if there's any good tweaks I don't know about.

**Just to be clear*** NOT looking for tips for converting video. Specifically STREAMED video.

There isn't anything you can do except turn off the "HQ" button. That's all you can do.

I think 3G can handle Youtube playback, unless you are in the weak signal area.
