I have an awesome picture of one of my tarantulas. And i want the picture greyed out and the. The orange bits left orange i have seen it done on photos with the grey picture and the eyes have been enhanced does any 1 know how to do this pref on gimp?

I'm sure there are several ways to do it.

I have masked off all but the colored portions I wanted to keep, saved that as an overlay, then take a copy of the original, turn it to b&w, layer on the colored overlay.

I guess you'd just just apply a filter that makes everything greyscale and then use this as a mask and only apply it to the bits you want. (I've done this in PS, I assume it's a similar process in GIMP)

I'd offer to do it, but spiders terrify me!
