I know that. Used for used taken into account, the moment is a big downgrade from the Incredible.
You can still get around $200 on ebay for a used Incredible.
I'll bet you'd have trouble getting $50 for a used Moment, if you could sell it at all.
edit:
After checking I see that they go for about $70 on average on ebay for good condition Moments. Less than half the price of used Incredibles in the same condition.
Good luck finding someone who desperately wants to leave Verizon, is not under contract, wants to go to Sprint and pay month-to-month, and doesn't want to spend any money on a phone. That's the only person who would take this deal.

ROFL. couldn't have put it better myself. Serisouly man, sell the moment, and buy a second hand incredible.. SLCD screen should be cheaper now that inc2 is out.. once inc2 gets rooted I think the inc1 price will drop a bit. could be wrong...

I wouldn't even trade an Eris for a Moment, now that I think about it. I liked my Eris.
that could MAYBE be considered in the same ballpark for a fair trade though...

If you only take into account the hardware, then yes.
But the Eris has such a huge community, and knowledge-base, and there are so many great roms for the Eris. I doubt the same could be said for the Moment.

That might be a slight exaggeration. I was just asking if he thought it was a fair deal, and since he did, I was trying to tell him why he is probably wasting his time. I wasn't rude at all.
When you come with an outrageous offer like this one, it's pretty hard to take seriously.
I'm sure he is serious, in that he would definitely make the trade if he could find some willing schmuck. But the offer is not serious.
