anyone else find apple support forum people to be mean?

As some of ya know I use a nexus 4 and a iPhone 5s as well but I feel like the community here is much friendlier.


Even when I googled things that I dont like about iPhone and found links on apple forum by other people asking same questions, they get torn apart by condescending and sarcastic replies and the forum mods do nothing. What I hate the most is how the people replying act like they are tech gurus but you can tell they have no knowledge of their own devices besides "it just works"

And I've asked stupid questions here but still got helpful advice, feel like on apple forums everyones on edge and scared to ask anything and I hear Lotta people leaving iPhones to come to android, my biggest guess is cus apple community is toxic as hell, its like being in highschool forever o.o

If you want to see some hubris and condescension, read the comments on any article on an Apple-centric blog.
 
I thought it interesting that they refer to their moderators as "hosts". I don't think I'd want a forum run by hosts, but I wouldn't mind a few cocktail waitresses. ;)

@bjacks12, read the comments on ANY blog. The internet can be a toxic wasteland of common sense and common courtesy. This site is one of the few that attempts to create an atmosphere of help and support without the condescension or ridicule. That's why I'm still here after 5 years. Even the drama that happens behind the scenes is handled in a courteous manner at all times. :)
 
Oh, i understand, but if you compare this forum or really any android forum to an Apple-centric one, there is a very noticeable difference.
 
apple don't have the necessary inputs for me!

I prefer the iFem
and again apple stole another innovation from someone else.
iFem inputs... no matter what direction.. will always fit.

Although the i Fem has 3 inputs usually only two are able to be used. Not to mention, the software can be quite frustrating. Down right impossible sometimes. And the hardware without the sometimes necessary cosmetic upgrades can be enough to trade it in for a better model.

iFem complaints merely indicate that you're not upgraded to iDreamboat.

Those of us who have experience no issues with the iFem.

Those stuck on iMbetter are not compatible with the iFem - better to quit while you're ahead than blame them for your missing update. :)
 
I can't imagine the iFem working perfectly, as nothing ever does. Everything breaks down eventually.
