Anyone else hate the mail in rebate business?

Anyone else hate the mail in rebate business? I'd prefer companies just put the phones at fair sale prices and be done with the mail in rebate crap. Just wondering if I'm alone in that thinking.

yeah.. i hate that as well but it's still better than paying full price for the phone

if i can get some money back few months later, i dont mind waste little bit of my time and forever stamp

so far my mail in rebates have been always successful so i didnt have to go through those terrible MIR horror stories

Do you have a Metro store near you? Looks like you get the full discount with no mail in rebate when you buy in the store right now.

I do have a good metro store near me and they do have instant rebates for some of the phones. Still don't like the practice but then I'm an old guy from a different era.

Hi everybody, yes I do agree, I don't like the MIR business, nor do I like their activation fee policy, but that's the business of making a quick buck.
