Anyone else have these?

This article misses crucial points of owning mechanical keyboards. The main reason for mechanical keyboard is accuracy of typing. Keys are stiffer so when you press them, you turn switches on and off and you surely press them. Typing very fast and accurate on mechanical keyboard is far easier than on rubber keys. If you do not fully press key on "regular" keyboard it's not going to register. It's not a big deal if you use keyboard to leave comments on youtube and post things on forums, but it makes difference for someone who types codes everyday.

No, I don't have any of those, but I wish I did. I have a bad habit of holding on when it comes to tech stuff, even when it's outlived its usefulness (like when it dies), but somehow I did not keep any of those. :( Well, wait...I still have many unpacked boxes in my garage from when I moved back here...

The old keyboards with the buckling springs are still made. And they're a lot cheaper than finding an old one. Try Unicomp, Inc. I've been using one of their classics for years and it still feels as good as the day I got it. (USB connector too. With "Windows" keys.)
