If you're thinking of getting this but have been put off by user reviews on let's say metacritic, please don't. My God it's got a bad score on there, but I never listen to that crap, it's actually pretty good. Here's an idea, don't use the completely voluntary microtransactions. What really made me laugh though was the same reviewers were also moaning that you had to grind if you didn't want to pay. Welcome to RPG, if you don't like to grind then pick a different genre mate. Only just taken over my first fortress after 14ish hours and I've enjoyed slaughtering ever one of those orcs. I've yet to find a need to pay for any legendary gear or orcs because I'm getting enough of them as I'm playing. Hat's off though to the dev for trying to open up RPG for the lazy gamer. Complete fail on that behalf though.
