Anyone elses pictures vanish?

So a few days ago I transfer some pics from my computer to my g1. I only had about 5 pictures total and then a few days later they all seemed to disappear except for one. Does anyone know what might have caused this or has this happened to anyone? I'm not really making a big deal out of it im just curious as to what might have happened?

The one obvious way it could have happened is if you changed out your memory card and didn't copy things to the new one.

I've never heard of anything spontaneously disappearing from a memory card before, though.

If you are managing applications and clear data from the one titled "Media Storage" I believe your pictures get deleted. I lost all of my pictures this way.
