anyone ever sold their unlimited plan?

I just signed a two year contract with att. I have a current grandfathered unlimited data plan with Verizon. Once I'm satisfied att has the service/coverage I require I plan to port my number over. I noticed people selling unlimited accounts on eBay but seemed sketchy. Read through my contract and it is OK to transfer account liability, ie, transfer my account to someone else. I just don't know how to go about it. It's an individual single phone plan, 450 mins, unlimited data and text. I'm not trying to use this sub forum as a for sale ad (I may keep it if att sucks, I've got two weeks to decide), I just want to know how to go about it.

Thanks for any advice.

Previously the assumption of liability was ok and preserved the unlimited data. But i think I've read recently that it has not been successful. I can't point you to a specific thread as I'm on the road but i do know that you would not be able to port your phone number AND sell the account. You need to keep the phone number associated with the unlimited account with the unlimited account. This fact alone may be a deciding factor for you so i thought I'd mention it.

I've done it with Sprint before where I had someone take over my family plan. It took a long process of complaining and escalating the issue. I believe you will always have leverage if you've always paid on time and been a long standing customer. Just make up some excuse like your family member is taking over the account since you're moving out of the country and you don't want to "cancel" all of your phone numbers.
