Anyone found a way to turn off that persistant message

Every time I plug in my Bluetooth Headset, I get a Warning: High Volume Levels will damage your hearing...

I have a 20 dB hearing loss, and I have all the volume levels cranked up to MAX...

if I don't, I can't hear anything.... and I am getting awful damn tired of having to get rid of that message every time I activate Bluetooth...

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but the same thing happened on my S5....
and IIRC, I figured out a way to get rid of that on the S5.

That's annoying that this message appears for Bluetooth as well as wired headphones, although I've never seen that before. You might have beeen using small BT speakers instead, and so that warning becomes somewhat irrelevant anyway for anyone.

Although FWIW, my newish Oppo R7 Plus, doesn't have any volume warnings at all, can just turn it up all the way, and it goes loud. Although this is a Chinese phone for China, where manufacturers don't usually have any multi-million dollar dimwit lawsuits and/or EU or US legislation to deal with. And I'm sure that's why they do it.

See this thread about it, Samsung S6

after reading the thread you referenced, I remember that I am having trouble making a new Qi Wireless charger work with my Note 4. In trying to get that to work, I pulled the battery out 4 or 5 times last night.... most likely Reset the Warning Message.

I ordered from the same company that I used for my S5, and they specified it would work "up to" 8mm of separation.
The case on my Note 4 and S5 are the same exact brand and model... quite thick, a Speck Military Grip non-slip case.

The S5 charges just fine on the Qi pad, the Note 4 has never once even blipped the Qi pad's light...

Removed the case and the Note 4 charges just fine "thank you ma'am"

aggravating, that case is on Tighter than Dick's Hat Band.... too much trouble to pull it off...

might just as well plug in the cord.... which makes it impossible to turn the thing around where I want it, or just grab it and go w/o jerking things off the table. argh!!!

.

w/o starting a new thread, anyone found a Qi wireless charging pad that is "High Power" and will work more than 5 mm away from the phone?

The problem with that is that Qi uses electromagnetic induction to charge devices. The charger has a coil that creates a magnetic field: the device also has a coil that, when exposed to the field, creates a charging current for the battery. The farther away you move the device from the coil, the weaker the field and the lower the charging current. If you had a Qi charger capable of longer distance charging, the high power of the magnetic field might fry any device placed directly on it. I'm sure the Qi developers worked on the delicate balance between too much power and too little when creating the standard.
