Did anyone here take advantage of the LG G5 early pre-order promotion in which you can receive the extra battery and charging cradle? (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular)

And if you did with Verizon, it seems like they throw in the 360 cam too:)

Kind of excited about this and submitted this morning.
Got the email confirming my submission:
We are excited to have you on board as the newest owner of the amazing LG G5!

Thank you for your submission for the Verizon LG G5 360 CAM, Battery and Cradle Bundle Promotion. We have received and are currently processing the information in the order of which it was received.

Please note that this email is only a confirmation of receipt. We will let you know of your approval status within 3-5 business days.

Your Submission ID is .......(removed by me)

Should take about 4-6 weeks but hey, it's free!

I just finished moments ago, with both the free battery & 360 Camera offers.
It'll be interesting to see if there is a significant difference in delivery dates.

T-Mobile's offer is identical to VZW's,we got both as well. :thumbsupdroid:

Keep me updated my friend!
And anyone else too!

Honestly, I probably won't use the 360 cam much beyond seeing if it works or not. Who knows, it may be a pretty cool thing :)

I'm already looking for someone to buy my (yet to be delivered,ETA 4/30) Samsung Gear VR Headset,LOL,perhaps I'll throw this in as well,to sweeten the pot,if it's of use outside of the LG G5 ecosystem..............

Worse than a kid waitin' for Santa,I'm already checking the status of the freebies: :paperbagdroid: :D
T-Mobile:
1) The battery kit offer confirmation e-mail is stating allow 3-5 business days, just as yours,but...........
2) The 360 Camera offer confirmation e-mail was separate & states to allow two weeks for eligibility confirmation & another (up to) six weeks before you may see it delivered.

You get anything like that for the camera offer?

No, not yet anyway. So 2 months before you get the camera eh? LOL, like "hey, we got this promotion thingy but you have to wait until pigs fly to get the goodies!" :D

No doubt,I'd gladly take the B&O module in its place if it could arrive in half the time......

All joking aside, I'm not too worried about it, especially the camera, it'll get here when it gets here.

LG did well with the V10 freebies, the wait was about 3 weeks total, not bad at all.....

when did you submit?
never mind, I see April 1st..

I'm still at "Submitted"... :(

Updated to "Approved" for the battery kit today & it's on it's way.
I wasn't given a tracking number by LG,but,if anything akin to the V10 kit,the contents are shipped in a sanely-sized envelope & will fit in most typical mailboxes/mailslots.
I'll give 'em a call to see if there's tracking available...................

I just talked to T-Mobile last night and the rep said that I would have till Friday to purchase to get in on both offers. But now my biggest worry is that this phone cant be rooted and I wont be able to install a custom ROM on it. And my other thought is do I pass up the freebies from LG and wait for the HTC 10, but then maybe the HTC 10 might not be able to be rooted also. Uh my mind is spinning today! What is everyone's thoughts?

G5 has been rooted already. I posted a teaser video, showng root and TWRP. However, there is no method yet for mere mortals like me.

The free battery kit arrived today:

What you see is what you get,no extra power cord or wall adapter.
It's all good to me,an extra battery is a good thing, especially the free variety.
BTW,I also got an "Approved" on the 360 Camera yesterday, expect six weeks for delivery.

Nice @KOLIO !
USB C and a normal usb port?
Yeppers,& it comes with a backwards capable adapter,so you're free to use any of your previous charging cables without having to buy the adapter. (I uploaded another pic to my previous post).

That's cool!
I'm just curious about the reasoning for the normal USB port (is that called USB A? )
