Anyone get System Tuner UI to unlock?

Found this while searching Nougat stuff. Most of the rest of tips in the link worked just fine.

Unlock System Tuner UI:
This is a clever hidden setting that offers a range of options you can't otherwise get to. You have to first enable the developer settings (as above). Then you swipe down the Quick Settings and press and hold the settings cog at the top next to the battery. After a long press, the System Tuner UI will be unlocked, and a new option will appear in the settings menu.

Verizon disabled this and many other features. The cog never even spins. I may switch carriers after this phone. I am tired of Verizon constantly crippling new phones. Especially LG phones

same here - cost of unit is why I stayed. that and they have always been good to me service and use wise.

but I almost switched to AT&T so I could use a wider range of devices. Or Tmobile. one of the other.
