Help Anyone getting poor/no data connection lately?

Hi everyone. I've been using T-Mobile service in my current location for about two years and have never had an issue with my data connection. In fact, it's often quite fast at times (sometimes getting around 40Mbps, but usually more in the 10-20 range).

But for the past week or so, I have been getting almost no connection, and the symbol in my notification bar is the "E" for Edge network. I don't understand why this is happening. I'm located about an hour outside of Houston, near a town called Waller.

Does anyone know if T-Mobile has been having issues lately that would cause this? Eventually I suppose I will have to call and deal with them about it, but hopefully someone here knows something.

I've had the same issue off and on since I made this post. I will just suddenly be on Edge for a day or so, and then back to LTE. Other phones in the household are still getting an LTE signal though, so I don't understand what's happening.
 
Is it a T-Mobile and/or US version phone you've got, and not an "international" one imported from somewhere else? Because those might not have all the bands and modes that T-Mobile uses, and can have the reception problems you're describing.

I have an S7 bought directly from T-Mobile.

The S8+ that does work is an unlocked phone from AT&T, if that matters.
