Help Anyone Got Hints on How to Make Link2SD work on a Kyocera Torque

msaroff

OK, my son has a Torque, and he is running out of app space.

I figured no big deal, I would root the phone, add a partition to the SD card with Aparted, and then use link to SD to link the apps to the 2nd partition.

It worked fine on my Samsung Galaxy S. (Epic 4G)

So, I root the phone with Framaroot, and then I verify the root both by using a verification app, and by using Android Tether successfully.

I partition the SD card with Aparted, and make the 2nd partition ext2.

But, when I attempt to run Link2SD, I get an error message saying that it cannot write the script, because there is no space on the device.

Needless to say, I'd like to figure out how to make it to work.

I figured out what was going on. Framaroot installs SuperSU, and when set to "prompt" SuperSU doesn't prompt. You have to set it to the (less secure) Grant all.

What version Framaroot did you use, and what version firmware on the Torque? Thx
