Anyone have a Hyundai Koral tablet?

JRioux

Newbie
I just saw some advertised at a good price and wondered if anyone knew about them.

My main question is how large of an SD card can they really handle.

Hyundai offers different models of Koral tablets but most appear to support only up to 32GB microSD cards:

Not to dissuade you from getting a Hyundai product, they are are reputable manufacturer with a solid history but just my opinion shopping for a tablet based on just low price is often not a good long term strategy. Some manufacturers do under-price items when trying to compete in a very competitive market, like mobile devices, so there is that, but a lot of the time buying a device that's a lot cheaper is because it's made of lower quality parts using lower quality standards. What makes that whole issue even worse is it's hard to rely on allegedly confirmed buyer comments in a lot of online retailers like Amazon because there are now so many unethical ways to 'game the system' with fake and false reviews.
Anyway, just do some research before you buy.

The 32GB limit on SD cards kills it for me. Other specs were fair for the price - Pie, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

I do lots of research before I buy. That's why I asked here. I also read and watch reviews. The main problem with many reviews is that they generally don't look beyond the top three brands. Another problem is that some reviewers expect cheap tablets to perform like expensive ones.

Read through the link I posted from Wirecutter. Even if you don't want to buy their recommendations, scroll down through the article as they also include a lot of details about what metrics they use to make their choices based on typical consumer scenarios. This gives you a better idea to make more informed choices on what to buy and what to avoid.
