anyone in the las vegas area...

Virgin Mobile is having an issue with Text messages guys as an FYI. All across the country people are having issues sending and receiving texts including myself in Madison WI. Stopped about mid morning here for me, 12pm central. If you call V Mo they say they are "Diligently working on the issue".

I hope it comes back soon! Spread the word.

Yeah mine worked this morning at around 6:30 am PST. Good to know it's not just me.
 
Saint Louis area (Belleville IL) text messages not working. I work in Missouri but live in Illinois. Data was not working until I rebooted my phone sometime this afternoon.
 
In MN ... no sending / receiving from 8 this morning until just now
Very very upset, almost caused something happen between my girl and I, she thought I was not talking to her, and I the same thing.
This happens way to much with VM. There should be some kind of alert system

This is the last straw for me, I will be looking for a new phone through a more reliable company, I've been loyal to VM for years, and they can't do the same for me.
 
I just got a text from some scammer called prize-patrol saying I won a $1000 WalMart gift card. Thats the only text I've received today...
 
Yeah mine wasnt working all day today until about 10 PM...I put up with their lack of coverage and now Im seriously considering going back to verizon
 
I was with a friend of mine last night and suddenly she received a txt, looked at me and said "Thanks". She received the message 6 hours after I sent it. But I think everything is back to normal now.
 
I have experienced it more than just then, it seems to me this is about the 3rd or 4th time that I have had this happen, and I do believe each time was much smaller scale, but to me this isn't acceptable, no warning no apologies for any incontinence. I never thought they would upset me, but the past few months they have been nothing but problems with me.
 
I'm sure whatever carrier you chose will upset you just the same. Things happen, equipment breaks, computers crash. But you have no contract to keep you here.

I'm sure the service is better on the other side of the fence.
