Anyone know a video app that will allow audio via USB

I want to video recorder my vinyl records.
The video from my phone will be fine but the audio needs to feed directly from the 6mm headphone jack on the amplifier.

Do you actually have a USB audio adapter with stereo analogue input connected to the phone via OTG?

I can do this with my Huawei phone, using a USB audio adapter I've got and just using the stock camera app.

So how does your video camera know to record audio from USB instead of the default built in microphone??

With my Huawei, USB audio input(when it's plugged-in) becomes the default for recording with the stock camera app. The USB audio adapter I've got actually came with a UHF wireless microphone, but it has stereo line-level input as well. If this works for other phones as well, I don't know, I've never tried.

Normally I use the wireless mic and USB adapter with a laptop for lesson recording.

One thing, does your phone actually support USB audio for input? Not all devices do.

You can record both separately, and then sync them together.

Record your video however you wish, and record the sound in mp3 format however you wish. Transfer the mp3 over to the phone, and the video too if need be.

Then use YouCut, a very simple, effective app, to put the two tracks together.

Start by playing the video in your gallery/video player, and then choose to share it.

Share it to YouCut.

Now add the soundtrack.

You can precisely insert the soundtrack, and test it until you get it just right, and then save it.
