Anyone know of an app that...

mpr

Lurker
allows one to toggle on / off the buttons and widgets on your home screen(s) so you can clearly see the wallpaper? I don't even know if there is such a thing, or if there is an equivalent to the "hide desktop" feature commonly found on Windows OSs. Maybe it's a setting within Android?

Try QuickDesk. It brings up one screen with a double tap of your home key (or by hitting the icon I have in my dock). Between that and the 10 apps I can hide down low with ADW, all my screens are looking mighty bare.

Quickdesk seems like too much to do something so simple. Looks like a decent app, though.

Maybe there isn't something like this out there.

Put them in a folder, then you'll only have the folder on your home screen, but all the apps are just one click away.
