Anyone like MMA (aka Cagefighting?)

I train at Bishops Boxing and MMA in West Bridgewater MA, But I also go to Lauzon's MMA (Joe and Dan Lauzons gym from the UFC) and Lakeville MMA. I started over at Lauzons 2 years ago but moved to Bishops because it was closer to home and open earlier so I could go on my way home from work. But i still hit Lauzons up after training at Bishops once and awhile.
 
im jelouse.... took me 3.5 years to get mine.... another 2 after that to get brown.

looks good man... was never into the MMA thing myself... always done pure jits traditional with gi is my passion.... that and old school boxing.... done that for about 10 years. We have alot of guys who train MMA in our classes though. Going to Fortaleza for a couple weeks after the new year to train and visit friends.... Have a few friends that train at BTT in Rio... nice guys... tough as nails.
 
I train MMA at our local gym. we do nogi about 75% of the time. I am 40, so competing is out of the question, but if I was in my 20's I'd be competing. Congrats on your win.

BTW, Joe's last fight was awesome. He is getting so much better training with BJ since TUF.
 
Funny thing is a lot of people think he has been going out to Hawaii training with BJ. He did right after TUF before his fight back in New Jersey against Jason Rienhart(sp?) who was 17-0 (by fighting only guys who where making their pro debut's). But he hasn't been out there since, he mainly trains at his gym now with his guys, and does his sparring on saturdays at my gym against some good boxers.
 
I know but the majority of the people in the US know it as Ultimate Fighting or Cage Fighting... you say MMA and people think your asking for some sweet Male Male Action...

although not to many promotions use the ring anymore, dream was the last big one that did and now they too are using a cage.

haha I would totally fight Fedor...so long as i was getting paid VERY well to do so.

but my Heavyweight days are over, come march/april ill be a slim 205 (hopefully)
