Anyone switch from t-mobile to AT&T?

I was with Verizon for 8 years and went over to tmobile about 3 months ago to save money and also because I wanted the nexus 5. T-Mobile coverage is decent in my area but is no where near as good as Verizon's was. I pay $110 on tmobile for 2 lines right now which is about $40 cheaper then Verizon. My wife isn't totally happy with t-mobile coverage so I was thinking of maybe trying at&t. I can use my same devices and get 10gb shared for $115 a month after corporate discount. Is at&t coverage better on the average than tmobile?

Coverage is different for every city so the best option is to ask people in your city how good reception is. You could also say which city you live in, there might be someone near you reading this (if you're comfortable posting your city online).

ATT coverage map:
AT&T Maps - Wireless Coverage Map for Voice and Data Coverage from AT&T

You can check which carriers have good service in your area - here are three sites that track carrier reception strength from users:

Unbiased Wireless Network Information. From people just like you - Sensorly
3G and 4G LTE Cell Coverage Map - OpenSignal
RootMetrics Coverage Map

I went from tmobile to att in atlanta
Big improvement i get good coversge where i didnt with t mobile

Yeah I just switched over to AT&T myself. Definitely an improvement in MA as well. I love what tmobile is doing but their network is just not there yet in my location.

in general.. ATT service is bigger than Tmobile. so it should be better in most places.
but there are places that Tmobile does very well. it all depends.

glad you are getting better service. and only cost a few bucks more.
so.. how does the wife like ATT??
