anyone try if nhl live works with hdmi?

I downloaded NHL live and was wondering if anyone has tried it with the mini HDMI cable and if it worked and if it did how did it look? Thanks! !
 
Well it would help if you told us what phone you are using. I have an evo and it works with that, however it's a Micro HDMI cable, not a Mini.
