Anyone Using Brightspot

Brightspot uses T-Mobile's network, which is a good thing since I'm using Tmo $30 prepaid plan. I just need more talk minutes compared to Tmo 100 minutes.

Haven't tried it, but it appears Brightspot Mobile only provides HSPA+ data, not LTE.

Still a good deal though.

i have it. Looking at t mobile $30 plan via walmart, but walmart pulled the old sim kits and replaced them with new ones. They say the same thing as brightspot : " up to 4 g speed". That means no more lte for that plan. Walmart called t mobile and you now have to have the $50 plan to get any lte.

The $30 plan is still getting LTE. As evidence, there is a Nexus 5 thread where a user ordered a new SIM, which arrived this last week, and started service with the $30 plan -- and he gets LTE. Since LTE was still on the plan for new users as of July 1, I think it is safe to say that LTE will stay on the plan at least another month; or even longer. When they change the $30 plan, I have little doubt we'll hear a lot of upset people spouting off on these forums.
