Root Anyone using QtADB on the E4GT?

I am currently running Ubuntu 12.04 (64-bit) on my laptop, for almost everything.

Unfortunately, there isn't a real good way to connect my rooted (Jellybean) Epic 4G Touch to the laptop when running a Linux so I can move files and whatnot.

I recently found QtADB, which seems to allow me to at least move files to and from the phone, though it appears finicky, to say the least.

I was wondering, is there anyone else using this program, or does anyone have a better setup for communicating between their E4GT and a Linux machine?

Use this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.zatta.USB_switch
You can switch the usb mode from MTP mode (which Linux doesn't support and only gives access to media libraries on windows) to mass storage mode which gives you access to everything (relatively). I have tried to answer this question a couple of times and my responses have disappeared. I don't know what is up with that.

This works! It takes a few steps, but seems to be a much better method than the other way; thanks.

I am glad that this worked out for you. It has worked on multiple devices for me even though it only claims support for the Galaxy S.
