Anyone using Vlingo on HTC Hero having issues?

I am having hit and miss problems with VLingo InCar:

1. Speak button shuts off after 1 second
2. SafeReader wont read emails
3. I sometimes get Can not connect to server or other error messages basically telling me the app is not working....

If I reboot my phone I can get Vlingo to work but after a few times getting in and out of my car it stops working. I am up to date on all my Sprint Hero updates, I use the app in my 2010 Fusion with Ford Sync.
