Anyone work for VZW tech support here?

Just curious if someone knows what the most common issues are that result in RMA's (in-warranty replacments) with the HTC Incredible? Like Blackberrys are RMA'd 99.99% of the time if the pc can't detect the phone anymore after hours of troubleshooting at the highest level of support....or reloading the handheld OS doesn't fix a certain issue after multiple attempts...

though they should not be replaced under warranty, many have been.

Interesting...so even though people are attempting to perform an action that would eventually void their warranty they'll replace phones that get broken when the break "breaks"? LOL funny

Its moreso the fault of the uneducated sales Rep/CSR who don't know what a rooted phone/failed root looks like. They assume EVERYTHING is a manufacturer defect and replace it. But now the customer will have to pay. Any rooted phone replaced will incur a non-refundable/non-negotiable $300 fee. Rooters beware.
