Anyone worried about scratching their camera lens?

I used to, but having taken all the Galaxy phones apart, and seeing the repair guides on the S3, I'm not that worried. It's a $25 back housing that comes off without any trouble at all. I don't even think you have to break any seals that would void the warranty, just a couple screws, no cables to fiddle with.

that said, as noted above, a case will help, even a very thin 'skin' or snap on cover will create some recessed space for the lens and protect it

Is the camera lens itself even exposed? Or is there a little plastic cover over it that comes with the phone?

Are you saying that even if you do scratch it, you can just buy another back housing for $25, replace it, and it's as good as new?

I don't want to use a case at all.
