Help anyway to backup/restore WhatsApp messages?

if you are migrating to another phone or so ..

but want to keep for reference all the chat history + pictures + video ..

is there any good way to export/import ? w or w/o media..

or at least back it up? say to .html but with all the media ..

I'd try Helium Backup.

Settings > Chat Settings > Backup conversations

If you're moving to a new phone just copy the folder onto your computer and copy it back on to your new phone. When you start up WhatsApp it will find the files and automatically load your old conversations.
