Anyway to get rid of "MotoBlur" cr@pware?

Just got a Motorola Bravo with Android 2.1. AT&T is the service.

To activate the phone, I had to install this motoblur cr@pware. Apparently, it eats up CPU cycles, and drains the battery, but does not do anything useful that I tell.

Exactly what I did on the DX. Trust me you will thank sitlet later.

You really notice a difference in the responsiveness of the phone after you root and install a clean rom with no bloatware.

Just beware b/c you can seriously damage your phone if you don't do the right research.

take off the live wallpaper... I did that, and installed a kill app and my battery lasts all day. I enjoy most of the motoblur interface, and the stuff I don't like I just hide and ignore it.
