Anyway to make the lock screen wake for text messages ONLY?

I just got my Honor View 20 yesterday, one thing i noticed is that by default its setup to not wake the screen when i receive a text. But when i go to change it it looks like it changes it for all notifications rather than just text messages. Is there a way to only wake the screen upon receiving a text and if i get any other kind of notification (whatsapp message etc.) it the lock screens stays off?

Try a text app that has that amongst its options and see whether it works. It might not if the OS overrides, but you never know.
